Build the content inventory from sales calls, quote forms, broker requests, empty-leg questions, and repeated points of confusion. Useful topics include cabin layout, passenger fit, baggage, route context, pets, Wi-Fi, catering, airport access, availability boundaries, safety proof, and what information the charter team needs before quoting.

Write one clear answer before adding a long explanation. A buyer should understand the practical point in the first paragraph, then find the supporting aircraft, market, or operating context below it. This structure works for people scanning the page and for systems trying to identify the page's main answer.

Keep a question log with the source and audience attached. A broker asking about positioning needs a different answer than a retail client asking about cabin fit. The page should make that distinction clear enough that the right reader reaches the right inquiry lane.

Treat AEO as part of SEO

Google's current guidance says its generative search features use the same core Search ranking and quality systems. Google also says there are no additional technical requirements, special schema types, or new AI text files required for inclusion in AI Overviews or AI Mode.

That puts the work back on durable fundamentals: allow crawling, keep important content in visible text, use internal links, provide a good page experience, support text with useful images, and make structured data match what the visitor can read. AEO should strengthen the website rather than bolt a second content system beside it.

Publish aircraft facts with useful boundaries

Fleet and aircraft pages need specific information, but every detail should match the current operation. State cabin configuration, practical passenger context, baggage considerations, amenities, representative mission fit, and inquiry requirements in language the operator approves.

Keep availability and performance qualified. Aircraft position, owner schedule, crew, maintenance, weather, runway, routing, passenger load, and baggage can change trip fit. A useful page explains what the aircraft may support and directs the buyer to current confirmation instead of turning marketing copy into an operational promise.

Connect related questions into a clear site structure

A fleet page should link to the relevant aircraft page, market or service-area context, safety information, contact path, and deeper answer when the buyer needs it. An empty-leg page should explain how alerts, availability review, and inquiry follow-up work. A broker page should make the broker lane distinct from direct charter demand.

These links help a buyer move through the decision and help crawlers discover supporting context. Avoid publishing dozens of thin city or airport pages. Each page should exist because the operator has real service, aircraft access, experience, or buyer questions in that market.

Use stable canonical routes and update existing pages as the operation changes. Splitting one useful answer across several nearly identical routes makes maintenance harder and leaves search systems with several weaker versions of the same information.

Keep platform access and training controls separate

OpenAI identifies OAI-SearchBot as the crawler used for search summaries and snippets. Its publisher guidance says referral URLs from ChatGPT include utm_source=chatgpt.com. GPTBot is a separate control for potential model training, so an operator can make a deliberate policy choice instead of treating every AI crawler as one thing.

Crawler access is only eligibility. It does not promise that a page will be indexed, cited, or sent traffic. Robots rules, canonical tags, noindex controls, page accessibility, and server behavior still need to match the operator's intended public boundary.

Measure visibility without confusing it with demand

Search Console includes Google's AI feature traffic inside the Web search type rather than a separate guaranteed AEO report. Other platforms may expose citations or grounding queries differently. Record those platform signals when available, but keep definitions stable as products change.

The commercial measurement path is longer: cited or discovered page, visit, inquiry, qualified inquiry, quote, and booking. A citation can be useful even when it does not create a click. A click can be useful without becoming a qualified trip. The operator's inquiry and sales workflow supplies the final truth.

Run AEO as an operating cadence

Each month, review search queries, cited pages where data exists, referral sources, repeated buyer questions, qualified inquiry notes, and missing content. Update current pages before adding another thin article. Keep aircraft facts and internal links current when the fleet, base, amenities, or inquiry workflow changes.

The strongest AEO work has an aviation point of view. It explains the details a generic publisher cannot supply, uses approved operator facts, and connects each answer to a useful next step. That improves the site even when an answer system never cites the page.
